Sheung Wan

Square

On weekend mornings, when I lived in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, my feet loved taking me up and down the hilly streets. I would explore the tucked away treasures, such as junk shops, temples and cha chaan teng (Hong Kong cafes). Because much of Sheung Wan sprawls up on the hill that makes up Hong Kong Island, with some very steep climbs, these streets are quieter than in most other places in the city.
